Well, we are on the road at last. There is snow on the ground, and the trails are groomed and looking sweet. Life is good!
Our travel went extremely smoothly last Thursday, flying into Bozeman and only stopping for a massive Costco run before heading to West. It was a lot of food, it should last us for around 10 days at at least. Here are three of our eight carts being loaded into the vans:
In West we have been skiing twice a day and organizing our skis. The top photo is of most of the team’s skis laid out on the back porch. Pretty impressive huh! Knowing your skis is one of the most important things a skier can do. West Yellowstone, being the first races of the year, is the exciting time when you get to start acquainting yourself with new members of your fleet. That has been my focus for the last few days. I have really enjoyed working with them, Fischer sent me some really good skis this year! The new hole skis may end up being some of my favorite skate skis this year.
Only three days until the first race!!
