Well the first race is done for me.  Simi was amazing in the qualifier, and was felled by an equipment malfunction in his quarter.  Ida kicked some serious butt, getting fourth overall, and the rest of us girls were a fairly strong 13,15,18.  I was seriously amateur in trying to cut someone off on an uphill and causing a small pile-up.  I am really looking forward to the 10k classic race tomorrow, the conditions were beyond ideal today and I really just wanted to fire it up and do some damage.

 

 

Hopefully I will have some really good and interesting things to say after the race tomorrow.

 

Also, congratulations to Holly and Kuzzy going to the olympics!! I am really excited for them.
