This is preposterous. Utter fiddle sticks. Unbelievable, though altogether too believable. Banished, locked up, key tossed into a bottomless pit of doom. If you are planning on resting or aware that you shouldn’t be allowed to do anything, then I think it is much easier to deal with. However, when you think that you are free, flapping merrily towards the gleeful sunlight, and someone shuts you down? That is a whole ‘nother story.
Long story short: I thought I was going to get to ski today in the gleeful sunlight and watch the team sprint (though I would rather race in it, but you have to be happy with what you can get), and I can’t. Shut down, denied, thwarted. I am stuck watching youtube and daydreaming about klister skiing (which is ridiculous in and of itself). Talk about preposterous.
Basically, I have one more day of sitting in my room (which was not totally unexpected, it just seems worse after my hopes were so inordinately raised this morning) before I can ski. Which isn’t too bad, things could be much much worse, it’s just slightly disappointing.

According to Peter Kling’s twitter, this is what it looks like skiing here.
